Dr. Amy Rippy graduated from Texas A&M University with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation she became an associate veterinarian at an equine ambulatory practice in Lexington, Kentucky, the Thoroughbred capital of the world. She gained experience in managing mare’s reproductive cycles, neonatal medicine, stallion management, sport horse and emergency medicine.She has had the opportunity to work on multi-million dollar horses, and to work with some of the best veterinarians in the industry. She enjoys riding her dressage horse Harley, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Ryan Jacques graduated from Texas A&M University with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He then went on to complete an equine internship in medicine and surgery in Ocala, Florida. There he gained experience in managing lameness in racing and sport horses, respiratory illnesses, and digestive disorders. He then went on to become an associate veterinarian in northern Virginia where he was in charge of the sports medicine department carrying out lameness exams and treatments, sports medicine, and routine care. Growing up in Texas, Dr. Ryan has bred, trained and shown western performance horses.He also enjoys spending time with his wife Jenna, who is a dressage rider and breeder ofWarmbloods. His hobbies include riding horses, playing golf, and water skiing.
